Black Friday = WIN

So after doing the blog thing for a while, and, more importantly, reading all sorts of amazing blogs, I have seen how amazing SLR cameras are. M and I were discussing them last week and I randomly mentioned that we could buy one together and call it our Christmas present to each other. At the time we didn’t think much of it, and then Black Friday ads started coming out.

Best Buy had a Canon T1i for $100 off; if you bought it with a telephoto lens and bag it was $300 off (which made the lens which was normally $300, only $100!). We couldn’t pass it up!

I’m hoping for big things for the blog with the addition of the camera! As well as big things for documenting our life.

Oh we also got an amazing deal on a Dyson today ($200 off). And yeah, I bought some presents too Overall good, fun day. I should tell you all that we did this without going out with the crazies. We left the house around 9:30 and bought the camera and other things (including a Dyson for M’s mom). We came home for a while in the afternoon. We got a call from M’s mom saying how awesome the Dyson was so M decided he wanted one. We drove to Target which was out (Target and Best Buy had the same deal on them), a Best Buy where we saw a guy get the last one, another Target, and finally a Best Buy where we got the last one. All of these deals and we didn’t have to get up at 4 a.m.
