I’m exhausted today. Might be that I haven’t taken a day off from the working out for a few. I probably won’t work out tomorrow a.m. but M and I have plans to go in the evening.
This morning I woke up at 6 a.m. on a Monday and went to the gym for a 4 mile run which I did in about 45 minutes. This was pretty slow, but my calves are still (and it’s 9 p.m. now) murdering me. I don’t know whether it was Shred or the calf raises I did at the gym but ouch. I ate like crap today. I had a mediation again today and it seems like every time I do them I eat like crap. It doesn’t help that the office they are at always has goodies sitting around (today the tootsie rolls got me).

HOLY CRAP!!!
I had read in an Eat this, Not that book that Panera was the worst fast food restaurant to eat at, which I thought was odd, but after looking up those nutritional facts for the cookie (which admittedly was huge) and the Turkey Bravo I’m completely in agreement. I knew I didn’t do well at lunch but I didn’t know just how bad it was. FAIL! I should have checked out the nutritional facts before I made my order and ate over 1200 calories at lunch.
I was half tempted to skip Shred today, but after I wrote the paragraph above, I headed upstairs and decided the least I could do was Shred. And it burned. Wow. But I did it. And I’m planning on doing pushups tonight (even though there are pushups in the Shred Level 1).

i usually go for soup & salad or half a sammich with soup & salad for a lighter meal
