I’m a big drinker of diet soda. When I say big drinker I mean it is seriously not uncommon for me to only drink soda the entire day. I know, I know. I’m sure there are many bad things about this and I know that. But I’m going to be honest, I can do a lot of things, eat better, exercise more, etc., but quitting diet soda is damn near impossible, so I’m not even going to try.
However, since becoming a grown-up, I have realized that I can no longer drink anything with caffeine at any point after work. At least this is what I try to do. So today at the grocery, I tried to find something to do the trick. This is what I came across: Sugar Free Kool-Aid. It came in three flavors: cherry, grape, and fruit punch. I went with the fruit punch (although I would have preferred orange…if they had that).
The best part of the Kool-Aid is that it’s super easy…you pour the packet into 2 quarts of water and mix.
Health Value: 5 stars. 5 calories per serving/8 servings per packet — 40 calories total. HECK YEAH.
Ease: 5 stars. Even I didn’t mess this one up AND if, er, when, I do spill it it’s sugar free so it won’t be as sticky!
Taste: 5 stars. It was freaking fantastic. I was super impressed at how good it tasted actually. I haven’t had Kool-Aid in forever, and, because of that, I probably would have thought this was real Kool-Aid if I hadn’t known better.
Satisfaction: 5 stars. It was great
Perfect evening drink
Overall: 5 stars. PERFECT-O.
Um Kool-Aid is rad. I’m going to have to go get some.
